If a case is lost does the client still have an obligation to payback Barr Cash?

Nope! Barr Cash provides non-recourse funding which means the advance only needs to be paid back if the case is won. If the case is lost, the client owes us nothing.

What is required of the personal injury attorney when a client decides to move forward with funding?

We respect the time of attorneys and firms, our underwriter only needs a few minutes to speak with the attorney so that a case can be quickly evaluated and an appropriate decision can be made.

How much of an advance can a client receive?

This is dependent on the case details, generally we fund up to 10% of the estimated case value. We follow this ‘10% rule’ in order to remain conservative and responsible with funding amounts.
